Day 26

 On Sunday, Lucas started taking milk through a pump. (30 ml of milk was pumped into his stomach during the course of 3 hours.) He tolerated this for two days. Today I was able to nurse Lucas for 5 minutes... then he got bored. Then I gave him some more of my milk in a bottle. I talked with three doctors today and they all gave me good reports about Lucas. It was a very happy day for me!

I'm a bit late in comment and hearing about Lucas since I've been out of town. I'm glad things are going better. I'm praying and hope he continues to gain strength and start eating.
